Obituary Michael D. "Big Mike" Mullins
Michael Mullins, 66, passed away on September 15, 2021, surrounded by his family in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Following a brief illness.
He was born in Huntington WV a son of the late Clyde Cecil and Mildred (Moyers) Mullins.
On November 26, 1972 he was untied in marriage to the former Misha (Watson) Mullins who survives at their home in Belington.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael Mullins of Belington and Jeremy Mullins and wife Heather of Weston. Grandchildren,Jordan Holley,Michaela Stevens,Trenton Mullins, Christian Mullins,Jacqueline Mullins, Great grandchildren, Blake and Jack Stevens. A brother, Charles Eugene "Gene" Mullins and wife Diana Kay, of Philippi.
Mike worked away from home for 35 years doing pipe line and over the road trucking. He loved driving truck and listening Willies Place on XM Radio. He had a special love in watching his boys play football for Philip Barbour High School he loved and supported his boys growing up. Mr. Mullins was a hard working man  and was always looking to trade or buy. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Also he loved spending time with the guys over at Charlies Exxon of Belington. Mike will be missed by all those that came in contact with him.
Family will receive friends at an open air viewing at the family home 2030 Buttermilk Road, Belington on Friday September 17, 2021 after 2 pm. A celebration of Mike's life will follow on Saturday, September 18, 2021, leaving Junior Volunteer Fire Department at 10:30 am, and at Belington V.F.W., 10:40 am., and Dianne's Restaurant at 10:50 am. Arrive at the By pass in Philippi at 11:15. Arrive at Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi where honoring Mike's wishes cremation will follow.
