Obituary
George Joshua Antonelli, age 79, a resident of Moatsville WV., passed away from this life on Monday, February 27, 2023, in the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness.
He was born into this life on April 14, 1943, in Rome, Italy, a son to the late Georgio Antonelli and Luisa (Sumbucini) Antonelli.
He was married to the former Ruth Ann Cathers who survives at their home.
George leaves behind his children; George Enrico Antonelli, Amy Oldaker (Danny), John Grenot, and Kelly Wall; grandchildren, Andreas Ryan Antonelli (Destiny) and, Dominic Antonelli; a brother, Ralph Antonelli.
He was preceded in death by a son, Carl Antonelli.
George attended the schools of Clarion PA. He received his bachelor's degree. He served our country during the Vietnam era. George retired from the federal government from working in the aviation division. He enjoyed gardening, fruit trees, working on the farm with his horses. George will be missed by all those that knew and loved him.
Mr. Antonelli's request for cremation was honored a private service with family and friends will be held at a later date. The Kittle Family Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family with the arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.kittlefamilyfh.com.
