Keith Britton

Keith O. Britton, age 63 a resident of Philippi, WV., and a former resident of Belington, WV., passed from this life peacefully on Wednesday November 30, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family under the care of Mountain Hospice, following an extended illness.
He was born into this life on September 15, 1959, in Annapolis, MD., a son to the late James O. Britton, and Marguerite C. (Collins) Britton.
On February 9, 1982, he was united in marriage to the love of his life the former Kathleen Arbogast who survives at their home in Philippi, WV.
Surviving are his daughters: Megan Britton, of Philippi, Brianna Britton, and fiancé Tyler Robinson, of Belington; his great grandchildren: Ariyah Gum, Camden Britton, and Karleigh Robinson; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Keith was the last surviving member of his immediate family having been preceded in death by his brothers: James Britton, Bobby Britton, and Charlie Britton: sisters; Sharon Britton, and Linda Britton.
Mr. Britton loved to spend time with his family, telling stories, and jokes. He was a lead guitar player with his band, loved listening to music, mostly classic rock, and roll. Before becoming disabled he was a car salesperson which he loved doing. Keith was an animal lover, especially his dog Izzy. He is going to be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Family and friends will gather at the Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi on Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 2 pm until 5 pm. A funeral service will be held at 5 pm in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Denzil Arbogast as the celebrant. In honoring Keith's wishes his remains will be cremated. The Kittle Family Funeral Home, 265 Beech Ave., Philippi, is honored to be assisting the Britton family with the arrangements.
